Heard someone say today: »Ich möchte eine unkomplizierte Beziehung.«
Asked for further explanation and got:
unkomplizierte Beziehung = nicht immer alles bereden müssen.
Generalization tends to give me nausea; generalizations do that even more.
Nevertheless I tried to translate and came up with
»I don’t want to talk about my expectations, dreams, wishes or feelings. The person in question should be able to make a proper guess on her own.«
– That’s just a guess. I did not dare to ask for a proper explanation of that non-explaining explanation. :)
